25] -- The Working Families Party [reply@workingfamilies.org] is looking for volunteers to phone bank virtually on Tues., Feb. 6 at 3 PM ET. Tell members of Congress No trading Trump immigration policies for more bombs!  The supplemental funding request would turn many cruel Trump-era immigration policies into permanent law. In exchange, Democrats would receive a military aid package that would include $14 billion in unconditional funding to the Israeli government to continue the siege on Gaza which has already killed more than 27,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children.  Help the WFP reach key Senators ahead of the vote to defeat these inhumane policies.  RSVP at https://www.mobilize.us/workingfamilies/event/589315/?utm_source=NatEmail-20240205&link_id=1&can_id=4b9d4061aec5469758759317ac0f5285&email_referrer=email_2195464&email_subject=join-the-phone-bank-no-trading-trump-immigration-policies-for-more-bombs

Register for a shift to make calls and help strengthen the phone bank team to protect our democracy. These shifts will also always include training for first-timers before you make calls, so if this is your first time, no worries! 27] -- Join the Baltimore Nonviolence Center on Tues., Feb. 6 from 4:30 to 5 PM ET at 33rd and N. Charles Sts. The invasion of Ukraine has the potential to become a war extending throughout Europe.  Putin has destroyed Aleppo and Grozny and has threatened the use of nuclear weapons.  Russian soldiers were sent into the area around the contaminated and still radioactive Chernobyl nuclear plant. Now they are stationed in the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, the largest in Europe.   People who believe in peace and justice should come forward and take the risks of peace. The burial sites continue to expose ruthless war crimes by the invaders, Contact Max at mobuszewski2001 at Comcast dot net or 410-323-1607.

What military weapons are used today to devastate the lives of millions in Gaza? Which are the U.S. companies that profit from this catastrophe? How can we challenge this business of death and hold these companies accountable? 33] – CODEPINK [info@codepink.org] on Tues., Feb. 6 at 8 PM will focus on Yemen Explained.  ‌While the US & Israel flagrantly violate the UN Genocide Convention to commit mass murder and starve 2.3 million people in Gaza, the Ansar Alla movement in Yemen blockades Red Sea shipments to Israel to uphold its treaty obligation to prevent further genocide. For this, the Biden administration–in an illegal circumvention of Congress-has bombed over 60 targets in Sana'a, the capital of Yemen, sending two aircraft carrier battle groups, guided missile destroyers, submarines and warplanes to the region. Despite the US strikes, Yemenis say the blockade will continue in solidarity with the Palestinian people. Visit https://www.codepink.org/cpc206?utm_campaign=cp_2_6_invite&utm_medium=email&utm_source=codepink
