AM, Reject Annexation: Rally at Jared Kushner's House, hosted by IfNotNow
DC at Mitchell Park, WDC. Israel’s
plan to annex the West Bank violates international law and threatens
Palestinian dignity. Donald Trump and Jared Kushner have enabled it every step
of the way. Do a wake-up call at Jared Kushner’s and Ivanka Trump’s house. For
full details, RSVP here: tinyurl.com/wakeupkushner. Bring your own shofar. See https://www.facebook.com/events/310511349987815/.
20] – J Stream is hosting Annexation and the EU:
From Rhetoric to Action on Mon., July 6 at 2 PM ET. European states have been some of the
most outspoken in opposition to Netanyahu’s pledge to unilaterally annex parts
of the West Bank. More than a dozen European Union member states have made
public statements against annexation, with seven going further to indicate the
intention to impose consequences. Meanwhile, the Netanyahu government has
forged close ties with the right-leaning EU member states, which have blocked
the EU from adopting a strong, unified anti-annexation response. What steps are
European states taking to deter annexation and what kinds of economic, political
and legal consequences might the EU impose should annexation occur? What impact
do divisions in the EU have on its ability to respond to annexation? How are
the Israeli government and Israeli public reacting to EU condemnation of
annexation? Join J Street’s Director of
Government Affairs, Dr. Debra Shushan, for a conversation with Dr. Maya
Sion-Tzidkiyahu, Mitvim Institute’s Director of the Program on Israel-Europe
Relations, and Martin Konečný, the Director of European Middle East Project. To

part of liberal legislative victories from the Affordable Care Act to allowing
gay people to serve openly in the military. She's repeatedly confronted President
Trump, from calling him a liar to his face to leading the impeachment process
to ripping up his State of the Union, and she seems to get under his skin in a
way few other political opponents have managed to do. This look at her life and
career, by the author Molly Ball of the New York Times bestselling biography,
PELOSI, will shed light on her methods and motivations. This is an online program via Zoom. For
