49] – Peace Action [info@peaceaction.org] on Thurs., April 2 at 7 PM is holding a national call to discuss opportunities on the horizon for the Pro-Peace movement. President Trump is trying to bypass Congress to give Israel weapons for further deadly strikes against Iran and Lebanon. The White House has declared an “emergency” to skip regular Congressional oversight and send over 20,000 bombs to Israel, costing U.S. taxpayers $660 million. Hear from Alex Sadler, foreign policy advisor for Sen. Bernie Sanders, about coordinated strategies to stop sending weapons to a country engaged in massive war crimes. Senator Sanders recently introduced a package of Joint Resolutions of Disapproval (JRDs) to prevent these U.S. bombs and bulldozers from being transferred to Israel. Also discuss the situation and congressional efforts on potential further votes on Iran War Powers Resolutions and stopping supplemental funding for the war.  RSVP at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/84387868759?pwd=lXC1rXyKSAhLTso7yhoOorHm7gjyIZ.1&emci=ad97a675-f02d-f111-9a48-000d3a14b640&emdi=e51eb500-f32d-f111-9a48-000d3a14b640&ceid=218683#success
