50] – On Thurs., April 27 at 3:30 PM ET, JustFaith Ministries staff members will provide a meeting for anyone interested in learning about the Eco-Justice Series. The meeting will include tips about starting groups in your church, organization, or area; general information about the programs; and a short experiential introduction to the programs.  Register at https://justfaith.org/april-2023-program-information-meeting/.

51] – Public Citizen [action@citizen.org] wants you to join in on Thurs., April 27 from 4 to 5 PM ET to discuss Future Trump indictments with Norm Eisen. While we’ll have to wait awhile for more news about Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s investigation into Donald Trump, we could see more indictments from different investigations soon: in Georgia: Fulton County, Georgia District Attorney Fani Willis — who is investigating potential interference in Georgia’s 2020 election — said earlier this week that she would make an announcement over the summer (between July 11 and September 1) about whether or not Trump or his allies would be charged. And the Department of Justice is running their own investigations too: Special counsel Jack Smith is investigating Trump’s efforts to overturn the 2020 election, as well as Trump’s handling of classified documents.

CNN legal analyst Norm Eisen, the Brennan Center’s Ruby Edlin, and Anat Shenker-Osorio of ASO Communications will speak on the Team Democracy call to discuss these potential upcoming indictments as well as ongoing threats facing our elections and election officials around the country. This event will continue on Thursdays, May 11, May 25 & June 8 from 4 to 5 PM ET. RSVP at https://www.mobilize.us/publiccitizeninitiative/event/548559/?utm_source=PCea&emci=3252e5a9-6ae4-ed11-8e8b-00224832eb73&emdi=8a0f367b-6be4-ed11-8e8b-00224832eb73&ceid=24639284.
