44] – On Thurs., April 13 from 1 to 3 PM ET, get with Strengthen Our Democracy, and Protect Our Freedom to Vote. RSVP at https://www.mobilize.us/dfadcoalition/event/555547/?followup_modal_context=organization_newsletter_custom_recommendations. We all want an equal say in the decisions that shape our future. But right now, state legislatures across the country are introducing and passing bills that restrict our freedom to vote. And corporations and billionaires are flooding secret money in our elections - silencing the voices of everyday people. In order to realize the promise of American democracy, we need bold, transformative reforms that would reduce the influence of big money in politics, ensure our freedom to vote, and guarantee that congressional districts are drawn to give fair representation for all. Join us for a community event to show our support for the Freedom to Vote Act and to urge our elected leaders to take action!

45] –There is a Public Citizen Democracy Campaign with weekly Team Democracy Calls: Money in Politics. Join these call to discuss ways we can protect and demand our freedom to vote!  On Thurs., April 13 from 4 to 5 PM ET, hear from movement leaders, and experts on efforts around the country, and nationally to address the growing influence of money from big business, and billionaires working to buy the outcome of our elections since the disastrous Citizens United Supreme Court ruling.  The event will continue on Thursdays, April 20 & 27 from 4 to 5 PM ET.  RSVP at https://www.mobilize.us/publiccitizeninitiative/event/548559/?utm_source=PCemail&eType=EmailBlastContent&eId=60a0c2a4-d7ac-448b-8173-d3f668a8116f.
