52] – Protect Broadband Access [causenet@commoncause.org]needs your help to protect Internet access for millions of people. That’s because if we don’t act quickly, the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), which helps low-income households afford home Internet is under serious threat of being defunded.  RSVP at https://www.mobilize.us/commoncause/event/565654/?link_id=0&can_id=4b9d4061aec5469758759317ac0f5285&source=email-youre-invited-rsvp-for-our-week-of-action-3&email_referrer=email_1956111___from_2465206&email_subject=youre-invited-rsvp-for-our-week-of-action. 53] – Public Citizen [action@citizen.org] wants you to join in on Thurs., June 22 from 4 to 5 PM ET to discuss Future Trump indictments with Norm Eisen. While we’ll have to wait awhile for more news about Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s investigation into Donald Trump, we could see more indictments from different investigations soon: in Georgia: Fulton County, Georgia District Attorney Fani Willis — who is investigating potential interference in Georgia’s 2020 election — said earlier this week that she would make an announcement over the summer (between July 11 and September 1) about whether or not Trump or his allies would be charged. And the Department of Justice is running their own investigations too: Special counsel Jack Smith is investigating Trump’s efforts to overturn the 2020 election, as well as Trump’s handling of classified documents. Also speaking will be the Brennan Center’s Ruby Edlin, and Anat Shenker-Osorio of ASO Communications.
