63] – Gaza is out of the headlines already but the body count continues to rise. This morning, the Gaza Ministry of Health announced that 11-year-old Layan al-Sha'er succumbed to the wounds she sustained during the latest bombardment. That makes Layan the 17th child to be killed by Israel's latest aggression and another beautiful little girl is now gone.

Yes, there’s a ceasefire in place but that does not mean that Palestinians will stop suffering. The ceasefire doesn’t change what took place this weekend and what’s been happening for the past 15 years of the siege on Gaza.  The American Muslim for Palestine will be conducting an Islamic congregational prayer and then protest right in front of the embassy. ALL are welcome to attend and participate.  Commemorate those brutally murdered by Israel's assault on Gaza. All Out for Gaza Protest and Friday Prayer/Jumuah at 1 PM ET on Aug. 12 at Israeli embassy, 3514 International Dr. NW, WDC 20008. Email info@ampalestine.org.
