24] – Senator Chris Murphy (D-CT) led ten fellow senators in sending an urgent message to the Trump administration: Ease economic sanctions against countries where those restrictions are seriously hampering the response to COVID-19 -- specifically Iran and Venezuela.  “Helping these nations save lives during this crisis is the right thing to do from a moral perspective, but it is also the right thing to do from a national security perspective,” Senator Murphy and his fellow senators wrote.
