19] – Get over to a John Lewis National Day of Commemoration and virtual Action Planning Meeting on Tuesdays, July 2 & 9 from 4 to 6 PM ET and on Mon., July 15 from 4 to 5 PM ET. Learn about how you can participate in the John Lewis National Day of Action to be held on July 17th - the 4th Anniversary of the passing of our voting rights champion. Former Congressperson John Lewis saw this democracy crisis coming. In the last years of his life he championed two pieces of federal legislation to secure our democracy, the Freedom to Vote Act and the John Lewis Voting Rights Act. The plan is to work to have events everywhere throughout the nation on July 17th which will highlight the urgency of this moment.  At these meetings, you will hear from leaders of the convening organizations about making July 17th a powerful Day of Action! 21] – Join the Baltimore Nonviolence Center on Tues., July 2 from 5 to 5:30 PM ET at 33rd and N. Charles Sts. The invasion of Ukraine has the potential to become a war extending throughout Europe.  Putin has destroyed Aleppo and Grozny and has threatened the use of nuclear weapons.  Russian soldiers were sent into the area around the contaminated and still radioactive Chernobyl nuclear plant. Now they are stationed in the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, the largest in Europe.   Contact Max at mobuszewski2001 at Comcast dot net or 410-323-1607.
