Each phone bank focuses on the most urgent campaign fights happening right now. Every week, volunteers from coast to coast come together to get the latest updates, receive training, and make calls as a team.  On June 3rd, the last day of DC Days meetings, Ellen Thomas [et@prop1.org] is calling on you to attend a celebration to mark the 45th anniversary of the vigil for peace and nuclear disarmament that continued round-the-clock across from the White House until September 2025, when President Trump ordered the vigil removed. Join the anniversary celebration at St. John's Church, on Black Lives Matter Plaza. Join the celebration to honor the people still protesting, remember those who are gone, and speak our minds about what's going on in this country and the world.  Members of the American University Archives team will be in attendance to interview people about their memories and collect an audio history.

39] –  Join the Sign Wave with Northeast Neighbors (Lauraville) on Wednesdays, June 3, 10, 17 & 24, from 4:30 to 5:30 PM at Harford Road & Parkside Drive, Baltimore 21214. The Wednesday Movement launched on March 12, 2025 when disgruntled seniors took to the streets at 40th Street and Roland Avenue in Baltimore to make their pro-democracy, anti-Trump, anti-Putin views known. Note this event will be held in a drizzle but maybe not in a downpour and definitely not with thunder/lightning in the forecast.
