67] – Boycott Target [boycotttargetbaltimore@gmail.com] on Sat., June 13 from 11 AM to noon indicates that there will be a Target Picket outside Target East, 3559 Boston St. Join the picket and you are welcome to speak for your organization. Target, once a leader in corporate Diversity, Equity and Inclusion policies, reneged not only on DEI but on many of its other progressive policies once Trump was reelected in 2024. These policies include not only contributing to the Trump political machine but also backing Trump’s fascist immigration program. The Target boycott is working. Target has lost millions in revenue since the boycott began and its CEO, Brian Cornell, was forced to resign.
The alliance between the movements against ICE, for the defense of DEI and affirmative action programs and against federal occupations around the country are building a mass movement against fascism and for real democracy. Picketers round the country will hold Target accountable and keep the boycott in the minds of the U.S. public. Contact Margaret Baldridge for the Baltimore “Boycott Target” coalition at 443-413-8758.

His family will host a community gathering to reflect with gratitude on his life — as journalist, teacher, peacemaker — whose decades of writing, teaching, and a life of moral purpose touched thousands of students and countless readers.

This nonviolent rally outside of the Silver Spring Tesla showroom is to remind the community that Elon's lawless actions are dangerous and won't be tolerated. 72] – The Patriotic Millionaires [info@patrioticmillionaires.org] on Sat., June 13 at 7 PM indicates that No Kings is partnering with the Committee for the First Amendment for Rise Up, Sing Out: A Concert for the First Amendment event. As event organizers put it, “As America approaches its 250th anniversary, we have a choice about what story we tell.” This time, rather than having participants take to the streets, this can be done from the comfort of your home (or favorite community spot or local business!). It’s a 90-minute concert event that will celebrate the freedoms guaranteed by our First Amendment—of speech, religion, press, assembly, and protest—and how it’s the people’s power that both fuels these rights and is essential to guarantee them. “One is called to live nonviolently, even if the change one works for seems impossible. It may or may not be possible to turn the US around through nonviolent revolution. But one thing favors such an attempt: the total inability of violence to change anything for the better" - Daniel Berrigan
