Register at  Two Just World Ed board members, Richard Falk and Nora Barrows-Friedman each had lengthy relationships with the heroic, recently deceased whistleblower Daniel Ellsberg-- relationships that were both political and personal. In the webinar, Nora and Richard will share some of the poignant personal remembrances of how the famed Dr. Ellsberg affected their lives. And together with Just World Ed President Helena Cobban they will reflect on the key importance of Dan Ellsberg's moral clarity and moral commitments in an era when our own century's greatest whistleblower, Julian Assange, has been incarcerated for many years in England, at the behest of U.S. authorities determined to punish him for revealing gross U.S. misdeeds in Iraq and elsewhere.

19] – The Immigration Justice Campaign [] is inviting all to a webinar “Limited Scope Representation” on Thurs., July 13 at 2 PM ET.  With the backlog of pending cases in the nation’s immigration courts at a record-breaking two million, the need for pro bono assistance for asylum-seekers in removal proceedings has never been higher. At the same time, that record-breaking number has caused significant court delays as the agency struggles to keep up with its burgeoning docket. Join a discussion of how volunteer attorneys can provide much-needed legal services to asylum-seekers in removal proceedings without committing themselves to full representation in a case which might not reach resolution for many years.  RSVP at
