The 2026 Maryland General Assembly legislative session has begun! This week, dozens of advocates rallied at the State House in Annapolis for the Affordable Solar Act with climate champion Delegate Lorig Charkoudian (District 20) to reinforce the urgency of clean solar energy here in Maryland. And that was only the start of our campaign for affordable clean energy statewide! Our elected officials in the General Assembly need to hear from their constituents across the state. Our collective action is critical – even if going to Annapolis in person isn’t accessible for you. Take action — from the comfort of home — by joining one of the virtual phone banks or postcard-writing parties!
The first Tuesday evening phone bank is on Jan. 20 from 6 to 8 PM. The phone banks will continue through April 7. The first post card huddle will be on Mon., Jan. 26 from 7 to 8 PM.
