work for peace since October 7. He is the son of renowned Israeli peace
activist Vivian Silver, who was killed in a Hamas attack on Kibbutz Be'eri on
October 7th, 2023. Silver was a tireless advocate for peace and co-founded
several organizations dedicated to this cause, including Women Wage
Peace and The Parents Circle-Families Forum. Women Wage
Peace is a grassroots movement that unites women from diverse backgrounds
in Israel to promote a nonviolent, negotiated solution to the
Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The organization emphasizes inclusivity and
collaboration, bringing together Jewish, Muslim, Christian, Druze, and Bedouin
women to work toward peace. Silver also played a pivotal role in providing
medical aid to Gazans, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to humanitarian
efforts and cross-border solidarity.
