40] –Knock on doors in Baltimore City and join the canvass, hosted by MD Victory.  Gather at the Baltimore Office, 2330 N. Howard St., Baltimore 21211. Knock on doors to elect Angela Alsobrooks to be the next United States Senator and Kweisi Mfume to be re-elected as the Congressperson from Maryland's 7th! First time volunteering? No worries. Each canvass shift starts with a training with an organizer who will be there to help you out. You will go out with a buddy so you can knock on doors together.

   You will need a smartphone so you can download the MiniVAN Touch app, the Democratic Party’s canvassing app. Download it on an iPhone or android. Also bring a full water bottle! 41] – On Wed., July 31 at 6 PM, Alice Rothchild will speak at Tenley-Friendship Library, 4450 Wisconsin Ave., NW, WDC, Her topic is “Health and Human Rights Consequences of the Gaza Genocide,” a presentation and discussion organized by Jewish Voice for Peace DC Metro chapter.  A Conversation with Dr. Alice Rothchild, physician, author, and filmmaker, about conditions in Gaza prior to October 7th, on-the-ground realities of the ongoing genocide, and strategies and struggles as we move forward. Dr. Alice Rothchild, a member of the Jewish Voice for Peace Health Advisory Council, serves on the board of the Gaza Mental Health Foundation, and is a mentor liaison for We Are Not Numbers. She writes and lectures widely, is the author of several books, produced the documentary film, Voices across the Divide, exploring the history of Palestine/Israel through the voices and experiences of Palestinians. She was last in Gaza, the West Bank and Israel in August 2023.

On Wednesdays, including July 31, from 6 to 7 PM ET, join a Team ENOUGH welcome session to learn more about the different ways you can engage.  Team ENOUGH is a youth-led program whose mission is to educate young voices about gun violence and mobilize them to take meaningful action against it.
