Progressive Maryland Invites you to the 2013 Progressive Summit & Lobby Night

Friends, The Pledge of Resistance-Baltimore/Fund Our Communities will be attending the Progressive Summit in Annapolis on Monday, March 4. So instead of our usual Monday meeting at my residence, we will be in Annapolis, supporting the repeal of the death penalty, the ban on francking, the wind farm and other progressive legislation. Raise the Minimum Wage * Establish a Paid Sick Days Standard

Require Combined Tax Reporting for Corporations * Protect Labor Rights / Prevailing Wages

Require Workplace Accommodations for Pregnancy * Increase Progressivity in Revenues

Ask Maryland Legislators to Support Conversion of Weapons Spending to Civilian Spending

Fair Elections And Democracy

Establish a System of Public Campaign Finance * Provide for Same-Day Voter Registration

Oppose "Corporate Personhood" Doctrines and Support Efforts to Overturn Citizens United

Justice For All / Civil Rights

Repeal the Death Penalty in Maryland * End Discrimination Against Transgender Persons
