June 7 at 10 AM ET, Repairers of the Breach and the Poor People's Campaign: A
National Call for Moral Revival will host a National Eulogy & Service of
Mourning for the poor and low-income and service workers America has lost to
COVID-19. Poor and low-income Americans, Black and brown communities, immigrants,
and incarcerated neighbors have died unnecessarily in this pandemic, because of
an inadequate response from our government, and we must take time to grieve and
mourn our loss if we are to do the prophetic work on reconstructing democracy.
Join Rabbi Jonah Pesner, Valarie Kaur, Imam Omar Suleiman, and Bishop William
J. Barber II for an interfaith memorial and eulogy for the more than 106,000
souls America has lost to COVID-19. Watch via livestream on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/anewppc/posts/2981494645280024

Neighbors Gather in Solidarity for Racial Justice, hosted by St. Luke's
Church On The Avenue, 800 W. 36th St., Baltimore 21211-2537. Gather outside St.
Luke's as a peaceful show of solidarity with the black community and the
movement against systemic racial injustice in this nation. Observe the near 9
minutes that George Floyd gasped for breath while a police officer knelt on his
neck until he died. Name those black men and women who have been wrongly killed
at the hands of police. Commit to listening to those affected, to learn the
history of race in this nation, and accompany our siblings of color to amplify
their voices and use our bodies to act to dismantle the systems that have
failed them time and time again. Bring signs supporting the cause, a voice and
spirit of solidarity. Bring a bottle of water, and wear sunscreen. Wear a face mask. Use hand sanitizer. Of
course, it is important for children to witness this moment safely, be mindful
of your child's capacity to remain socially distant if you choose to bring
them.

shocking investigations, blow the whistle on horrific animal cruelty and

heart of Big Ag. This will be a
responsible, social distancing observant, in-person protest. For details, see
facebook.com/groups/BmoreDxE. Press
release of the investigation is here: http://dxe.io/VSDPR.
The demand is that retailers who carry Tyson or JBS "products" stop
doing so as these massive companies work with Iowa Select Farms, the company
guilty of roasting thousands of pigs alive by ventilation shutdown. Check out
