See THE EXONERATED

Friends,

On Friday night, I will be at the University of Baltimore, as the play THE EXONERATED will be shown.  I will be part of a panel discussion after the performance.  If interested in seeing the play, here is the information:

The Exonerated, Jessica Blank and Erik Jensen's play about six wrongly-convicted Americans who spent time on death row, will be presented by Spotlight UB on March 8-10 at 7 p.m. in the Lucy and Vernon Wright Theater in the University of Baltimore Student Center, 21 W. Mt. Royal Ave.

Kagiso, Max

Dear Max,

Thanks for writing a letter to your legislators in Maryland. Grassroots actions like the one you've just taken are how we've ended the death penalty in New York, New Jersey, New Mexico, and Illinois.

If you haven't already, ask your friends to do the same. You can also help by posting this link on your Facebook page or Twitter feed: http://ejusa.org/act/MD. Or make a tax deductible donation to EJUSA. Become a partner in our work to make the criminal justice system more just!

Thank you so much,
Emma

Tell your representatives to end Maryland's death penalty in 2012!

Maryland's death penalty is applied unfairly. It doesn't keep us any safer. It risks executing an innocent person. It fails to meet the needs of families of murder victims. And it costs millions more than alternatives.

It's time to stop wasting scarce resources on an system that is broken beyond repair.

Take action today!
