34] – CODEPINK [info@codepink.org] on Wed., Nov. 12 at 1 PM
ET is holding a webinar about the Supply Chain of Death. Sierra Nevada
Corporation’s spy plane, used for surveillance over Gaza on behalf of Israel,
is still based at RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus. Despite the ceasefire (which is
little more than a slowed down genocide) and relegation of the plane for
training, the structures that facilitated surveillance for genocide remain
intact. Gaza has exposed this supply chain, and it’s up to us to shut it down.
On the webinar hear from speakers in the U.S., Cyprus, and Britain who will
discuss this supply chain of death, a debrief on joint actions, and how we can
escalate our work to stop it. RSVP at https://www.basesoffcyprus.org/novwebinar?utm_campaign=bases_off_cyprus_11_10_alert&utm_medium=email&utm_source=codepink

The Union of Concerned Scientists (UCS) invites you to join a virtual event featuring updates on its efforts to fight back against the Trump administration's authoritarian siege on science and democracy, while staying on offense with a proactive, pro-science agenda at the state level and federally with bipartisan allies in Congress. UCS experts from the Federal Response Strategy Team will discuss strategic work carried out during the summer recess, how UCS is continuing to track and push back on impacts of the "Big Billionaire Budget" bill passed by Congress in July, and how Ito respond to intensifying authoritarian attacks on science during the first 10 months of the second Trump administration.

Nuclear weapons ARE a local issue. Build on the ongoing initiative to cultivate more leadership at the state & local level by coming together, calling elected officials, and encouraging them to sign onto the letter urging Members of Congress to co-sponsor H. Res. 317 & S. Res. 323. It's most effective when they hear directly from constituents and people in their state. You will receive call scripts and any additional resources you might need in order to feel more prepared and ready to continue the fight for a safer world free of nuclear weapons. Choose a slot -- 1 to 2 PM, 2 to 3 PM, 3 to 4 PM & 4 to 5 PM ET. You will be calling the offices of governors, mayors, city councilors, county commissioners, and state legislators urging them to join some 100 officials who have already signed the open letter to Congress in support of H. Res. 317 and S. Res. 323.
44] –What’s the Plan? A virtual Weekly Discussion with Indivisible’s co-founders takes place on Thursdays, including Nov. 13, from 3 to 4 PM ET. The onslaught of news, the chaos coming out of the White House – it’s all meant to overwhelm us. It’s a deliberate strategy to sow confusion and make us believe we are powerless to fight back. The antidote: Coming together in community to process what’s happening, to sift through what’s important and what’s just noise, and coalesce around strategies for fighting back. Join Indivisible co-founders Leah Greenberg and Ezra Levin each week to discuss what’s happening and – more importantly – what’s the plan. The event will continue through Dec. 18. RSVP at https://www.mobilize.us/indivisible/event/773746/?utm_source=email&utm_medium=_20250728
45] –On Thursdays, Nov. 13, from 4 to 5:30 PM, join an Overpass Extravaganza at Ridgley Ave. Overpass, 599 Ridgely Ave., Annapolis 21401, hosted by Chesapeake Indivisible. Help hoist a huge message on the Ridgley Avenue Route 50 overpass to reach about 40K commuters headed eastbound on Route 50 in Annapolis, and wave signs for drivers traversing Ridgley Avenue. This event will continue through Thurs., Dec. 11. RSVP at https://www.mobilize.us/mobilize/event/824306/
