Sun Day showed us the incredible power of coming together to celebrate clean energy. Now, it's time to channel that energy into action that gets more solar and wind projects built in communities across the country. For example, there is a group which for four months has been showing up outside ICE’s black site detention camp in the Florida Everglades known as Alligator Alcatraz. This is the moral issue of our time. As we look upon the lessons of the workers and organizers who came before us, we know that when history came knocking they answered the call to leave the world a better place than they found it. On this call, you’ll hear directly from organizers who have been holding weekly vigils at Alligator Alcatraz and from people who are just getting started at other detention sites around the country.
