21] – Join the "Baltimore Eyes on Ice" protest on Mon., June 9 at 5 PM at McKeldin Plaza, East Pratt St., Baltimore 21230, then march to the ICE Field Office at 31 Hopkins Plaza (George H. Fallon Building) at 5:50 PM. This will be a weekly protest organized by volunteers with support from the Free State Coalition.  The Trump Administration is cutting back many of this country's vital services, while at the same time ramping up ICE enforcement. They aim to spend $48 billion dollars to expand immigration detention, while firing federal workers, cutting vital community services and eliminating the Department of Education. We don’t want to live in their police state. We don't want a system that terrorizes and kidnaps our immigrant brothers and sisters, while it cuts and eliminates our vital education, nutrition and healthcare services!  We reject the Trump administration’s cruel treatment of immigrant people. We reject the terror ICE inflicts on our immigrant communities. We reject the violation of the rights of ALL people to due process. We stand in solidarity with all working people and students.

22] –  On Mon., June 9 at noon ET, gather near the Department of Justice, 950 Pennsylvania Ave. NW, WDC 20530 to  protest the arrest and the incarceration of David Huerta, the SEIU-USWW president. On June 6, military-gear-clad ICE agents launched aggressive raids throughout Los Angeles. At one location, Huerta was assaulted, injured and detained while advocating for immigrant workers. While he has been released from the hospital, he remains in federal custody. 23] – Jewish Voice for Peace is doing a Power Half-Hour for Gaza: Channel grief & outrage into action to stop a genocide.  A year into the genocide in Gaza, we are overwhelmed with sorrow and rage. There are no words to describe the devastating pain of the past year in which the Israeli military has killed over 44,000 Palestinians in Gaza, including more than 17,000 children. The International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court have both declared that Israel must stop the genocidal acts being committed on the Palestinian people. And the U.S. government is actively supporting the Israeli military as it wreaks devastation on the over 2 million Palestinians in Gaza. JVP continues to come together as a political community in its daily half-hour to take action. Join in and take collective action to demand an arms embargo to Israel, immediate end to the genocide, a lasting ceasefire and an end to Israeli siege, apartheid, occupation, and oppression of Palestinians and Lebanon.
