] –The Islamic regime in Iran is using execution verdicts as a desperate act to suppress peaceful demonstrations and protests due to the disastrous economic condition in Iran.  The judicial system in Iran executes innocent activist and individuals by forced confessions, torture and sham trials.  The unjust death sentences for Pakhshan Azizi and Varisheh Moradi is another act of desperation by the Islamic Republic’s use of capital punishment to suppress members of minority communities and terrorize Iranian women who are fighting tirelessly for their rights as equal citizens of Iran.  You are asked to show your urgent support for contacting the United Nations Human Rights office and Iranian mission at United Nations to demand the Islamic republic of Iran stop the unjust execution verdicts for both women and hundreds of other prisoners on death row in Iran. These prisoners must receive fair trials according to international judicial standards, including the right for all prisoners to independent counsels.

Contact the permanent mission of Iran, 622 Third Avenue, 34th Floor, NEW YORK, NY 10017 -- https://geneva.mfa.gov.ir or Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), Palais Wilson, 52 rue des Pâquis, CH-1201 Geneva, Switzerland -- ohchr-InfoDesk@un.org

] – Takoma Park Mobilization [info@tpmobilization.org] on Wed., June 4 through June 8 for WorldPride 2025. 2025 marks the 50th Anniversary of Pride celebrations in Washington, DC! The Capital Pride Alliance is excited for Washington, DC to host WorldPride 2025 and share this momentous and exciting milestone with our international community.  Be a part of The Fabric of Freedom through in Washington, DC! Register at https://worldpridedc.org/

] – On Tues., June 3 through Fri., June 6 from 11:45 AM to 1 PM ET or 5 to 7:30 PM,  phone bank with the AFL-CIO union members to reclaim its power. Ask every union member to reach out to another potential union member and invite them to join or rejoin their union, paying directly to their organization.  Through unlawful national security exclusions, nearly all members of federal unions have been denied their union rights under law and contract. As part of that attack, federal agencies have dropped nearly all members from payroll deduction, meaning they need to sign up again as members to stay in the fight.  Please select two phone banking shifts for each week to help support federal employees taking control of their lives.

] – Mar Arain [email@acrecampaigns.org] on Wed., June 4 from noon to 1:30 PM wants you to hear from Nike Garment Workers Fighting for Justice in D.C. at 500 1st St. NW, 9th Floor Convening Space.  There is so much the US labor movement must learn from workers in the Global South about how to build and run transnational corporate campaigns. ACRE is co-hosting a panel with Indonesian Nike garment workers and union activists Leni Oktira Sari, Dedhe Nurhasanah, and Dinar Swandi to discuss their organizing efforts across Asia and the U.S. The unprecedented wealth and political power of billionaires and corporations here in the U.S. was made possible through resource extraction and labor exploitation in the Global South. That is why we must build bonds of true solidarity across all borders to fight corporate greed and advance worker justice. It’s not too late for us to join together across the globe to demand that corporations and billionaires pay all of us what they owe! 43] – Jewish Voice for Peace is doing a Power Half-Hour for Gaza: Channel grief & outrage into action to stop a genocide.  A year into the genocide in Gaza, we are overwhelmed with sorrow and rage. There are no words to describe the devastating pain of the past year in which the Israeli military has killed over 44,000 Palestinians in Gaza, including more than 17,000 children. The International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court have both declared that Israel must stop the genocidal acts being committed on the Palestinian people. And the U.S. government is actively supporting the Israeli military as it wreaks devastation on the over 2 million Palestinians in Gaza. JVP continues to come together as a political community in its daily half-hour to take action. Join in and take collective action to demand an arms embargo to Israel, immediate end to the genocide, a lasting ceasefire and an end to Israeli siege, apartheid, occupation, and oppression of Palestinians and Lebanon. All are welcome. All are needed. Get involved at 3 PM ET on Wed., June 4, Thurs., June 5, Mon., June 9 & Tues., June 10.
