49] – The "LOVE TO AFGHANISTAN" vigil will take place on Thurs., Feb. 17 from noon to 1 PM at LOVE Park, 15th & JFK Boulevard in Philadelphia.  The vigil is part of a national appeal from faith communities, peace groups, and people of conscience to the U.S. government to unfreeze assets and relax U.S. sanctions against the people of Afghanistan who after decades of war are facing nationwide famine.
