58] – Check out a new book as Alan Barysh Debunks Conspiracy Theories. Hot on the heels of the tragic events of September 11th, 2001 a plethora of bogus "theories" or conspiracy theories flooded cyberspace as well as the conservative/populist/fascist media. Among one of the proponents of the theory that what happened on this day was Alex Jones, an extreme right-wing talk show radio host, the reactionary cultural nationalist Minister Louis Farrakhan, and Baltimore peace activist Richard Ochs. After getting a flyer by Ochs, Barysh wondered why he would side with a long-debunked talk show host and a man who thinks white people were created by some "evil scientist." Other red flags went off when Mr. Barysh read three statements and noticed they were almost word for word statements.
Mr. Barysh confronted Mr. Ochs and challenged him to a debate. It seems Mr. Ochs would debate anyone but Mr. Barysh. So Mr. Barysh began work on the book "Sorry Truther 911 Was an OUTSIDE JOB!" This hard-hitting chapbook lays bare the mumbo jumbo of the trumped "theories" of the "Truther" movement. In both poetry and polemic, Mr. Barysh calls out these charlatans who can only distract good people from struggling for true peace and justice into a political swamp of false information and paranoia. This book reproduces the original flyer of Mr. Ochs. Mr. Barysh dissects the outlandish, guilt-tripping, and fascist/populist propaganda that among other things sees Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Hitler, and Mao as equally bad.
This book also asks these questions to Mr. Ochs. Why did the social fascists of the “Soviet Union’ in the sixties need nuclear weapons? Why did Castro want "socialist nukes"? Why did Cuba send troops to do the biddings of the Soviets in the Southern African frontline states? This book can be purchased as both an amazon kindle book, and, as a paperback from Amazon.com. Should any peace and justice group want to do a zoom debate or wait until it is safe to host a debate, they may contact Alan Barysh at 443-239-5325 or magoo1917@earthlink.net.

63] – The Trump Administration is again beating the war drums. Most recently, the target is Iran. Should the Trump administration initiate an act of war against Iran, consider joining us. It is a violation of U.S. law for the Trump Administration to attack a country that has not attacked us, as only Congress can declare war. The Trump administration is nevertheless beating the war drums for war against Iran and Venezuela. Should a war criminal, John Bolton, convince Trump to attack either of these countries, such a military strike would demand an immediate and unequivocal response from us to show that we will not tolerate his abuse of power.
Let's mobilize to show that we the people will not tolerate another military adventure, which would be bound to have profound negative consequences. If a military strike against Iran or Venezuela takes place, then meet at 33rd and N. Charles St., Baltimore 21218. If the attack is before 2 PM local time, then the event will begin at 5 PM, local time. If the attack occurs after 5 PM local time, then the event will begin at 5 PM, local time, the following day. “One is called to live nonviolently, even if the change one works for seems impossible. It may or may not be possible to turn the US around through nonviolent revolution. But one thing favors such an attempt: the total inability of violence to change anything for the better" - Daniel Berrigan
