from each local, regional, or national organization (not coalitions) that
wishes to actively work to carry out the NCNR campaign of facilitating and
organizing nonviolent resistance to U.S. wars.
To join the ORGANIZING List, please send your
name, group affiliation, city and email address to mobuszewski2001 at Comcast

6] – A
friend, Brendan Walls, was to move out of a rented home on March 1. So he
is looking for housing and wants to live south of the Baltimore beltway, east
of US 95 and north of Route 214. Do you know of a house or apartment in
the Annapolis area with as much peace and quiet as I can get for no more than
$1800 a month? He does not mind pet sitting, house sitting, keeping
someone company or community living. Let me know if you have a lead on a
home or apartment for Brendan to rent. Thanks for giving this your
consideration. Reach Max at 410-323-1607 or mobuszewski 2001 at Comcast dot

7] – Here is the Go Fund Me link through which you can
help Adel Al Manthari get the medical attention that he desperately needs: https://gofund.me/1a5fac07.
Please contribute as soon as
possible because he will not be able to get treatment until $10,000 is raised. BanKillerDrones.org is
raising funds to help him. WESPAC Foundation is the fiscal agent
for BanKillerDrones.org. In March 2018 Adel Al Manthari was grievously injured in a U.S.
drone attack in Yemen that killed four of his cousins. The five men were
driving to the village of al-Aqla to witness a land transfer. They never made
it. Tens of thousands have been killed and maimed by U.S. drone attacks.
Adel survived, but now his health is in jeopardy because he can’t afford
the medical care he needs.

10] – Usually,
the Baltimore Ethical Society, 2521 St. Paul St., Baltimore 21218, meets on
Sundays, and generally there is a speaker and discussion at 10:30 AM. On
Sun., June 26, the platform is “Ethical
Society as Family.” Do you think of an Ethical
Society as a kind of a family? If so, have you ever wondered how far that
analogy goes and if there might be any unintended consequences of it? John
Daken will offer some perspectives on this concept, describe some problems that
can arise if we think of our clergy Leaders as “parents,“ and – drawing upon
lessons his daughter has taught him about parenting – suggest a better way to
engage one another as we work together to build a more ethical society.
(If things work out, John may be joined by a special guest.)
John Daken is a Washington Ethical
Society member. He is currently chair of the AEU’s Membership Committee and
serving on the Leadership Committee. At one time he was a Leader in Training,
serving in Baltimore. Email President@BEMOREthical.org for
ZOOM login information.

A group of parliamentary delegates to
the OSCEPA from Cyprus, Netherlands, Switzerland and the United Kingdom have
proposed that the Assembly, in its Birmingham Declaration: Re-affirm the

fought, and urge all nuclear armed and allied states to implement this through
no-first-use declarations and agreements, and by further reducing the role of
nuclear weapons in security doctrines.
The delegates also encouraged OSCE States to implement the disarmament
obligation of the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) by ending investments in the
nuclear weapons industry, ending the production of nuclear weapons, and
committing to the global, verified elimination of nuclear weapons no later than
2045, the 75th anniversary of the NPT.

their state. On Tuesdays (in partnership with Newburyport Indivisible-RISE),
call New Hampshire voters to connect them with Gov. Sununu and encourage him to

19] – China and Climate Change will take
place on Sun., June 26 at 7:30 PM EDT.
Watch “A Green Life,” video presentation (30 min.) This is a documentary on China, afforestation
and green development. Hear from Jason Wang about “China’s goals and measures
for low carbon development.” Jason is a member of the national board
of the US-China Peoples Friendship Association. This will be followed by a Q
& A. This is very suspicious as
China burns an enormous amount of coal.
Jason has served with the Chicago Climate Exchange and was managing
director of China Carbon Corporation, consulting on low carbon development
strategy. It is difficult to believe Mr.
Wang would be impartial. Nevertheless,
you can register at
https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZcldeigrT0vG9UU7WFDy3noAS1IsfbA2mCo/success?user_id=cYbhXNRpRZuY7H4UgjIREw&timezone_id=America%2FNew_York.

bicycle fences across from the entrance to the Metro. By Metro, take
Yellow Line and get out at the "Pentagon" stop. Do not go to the
Pentagon City stop! Go up south escalators and turn left and walk across to
protest area. By car from D.C. area, take 395 South and get off
at Exit 8A-Pentagon South Parking. Take slight right onto S. Rotary
Rd. at end of ramp and right on S. Fern St. Then take left onto Army
