62] – Pax Christi USA [dfrancis@paxchristiusa.ccsend.com] on
Fri., April 11 is organizing a World Day of Prayer for Peace in Sudan. Sudan is
currently facing one of the most severe and under-recognized humanitarian
crises in the world. Since April 2023, the war between the Sudanese Armed
Forces (SAF) and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) has plunged the country into
devastation. The situation has been exacerbated by targeted attacks on
civilians, ethnic cleansing in Darfur, and the systematic obstruction of
humanitarian aid. International bodies, including the United Nations and the
African Union, have labelled Sudan as the worst humanitarian crisis globally.
In the spirit of faith and solidarity, Pax Christi International is launching
the World Day of Prayer for Peace in Sudan on Friday, April 11. RSVP at
https://paxchristiusa.org/2025/03/26/april-11-world-day-of-prayer-peace-in-sudan/

77] – Hideaki Ito [silentfalloutproject.org@gmail.com] wants to give you an update about the Silent Fallout Project. It has been more than five months since Silent Fallout was screened in Baltimore. He wants to express his sincere gratitude to all who supported the project during its US tour and hosted screenings. The film was shown in 20 locations over 43 days to over 600 people. The film aims to raise awareness about the reality of radiation contamination across the American continent and how many Americans are unknowingly exposed. It helps people understand that they are impacted by this issue and then use the US as a starting point to spark a global conversation about radiation.
Currently, the project is facing a deficit of $100K, and its future is uncertain. However, Ito is determined to raise funds and continue its activities. In 2025, which marks the 80th year since the birth of the atomic bomb, there is a plan to embark on a European screening tour, produce a new film, conduct a second US tour, and host a large-scale event on August 6th.
