53] -- Maryland LCV [info@mdlcv.org] is meeting on Fri., Jan. 26 from noon to 12:30 PM to discuss removing Trash Incineration from Maryland’s Renewable Energy Portfolio Standard. As Maryland continues to build a sustainable energy future, the RPS remains an essential tool in this endeavor. This session, major legislative efforts are underway to continue to support the state in reaching its clean energy targets, including reform to the state’s RPS. The Reclaim Renewable Energy Act will remove trash incineration from the RPS, making more state incentives and investments available for clean, renewable energy. This change is not only essential for our environment but crucial for public health, particularly for those living near incineration facilities.  Zoom details will be provided following your registration: https://www.mdlcv.org/event/friday-digest-january-26?emci=17630580-03ba-ee11-bea1-002248223848&emdi=6fa8fd5e-32ba-ee11-bea1-002248223848&ceid=578562
