52] –What’s the Plan? A virtual Weekly Discussion with Indivisible’s co-founders takes place on Thursdays, including Oct. 30, from 3 to 4 PM ET. The onslaught of news, the chaos coming out of the White House – it’s all meant to overwhelm us. It’s a deliberate strategy to sow confusion and make us believe we are powerless to fight back. The antidote: Coming together in community to process what’s happening, to sift through what’s important and what’s just noise, and coalesce around strategies for fighting back. Join Indivisible co-founders Leah Greenberg and Ezra Levin each week to discuss what’s happening and – more importantly – what’s the plan. The event will continue through Dec. 18. RSVP at https://www.mobilize.us/indivisible/event/773746/?utm_source=email&utm_medium=_20250728

53] –On Thurs., Oct. 30, from 4 to 5:30 PM, join an Overpass Extravaganza at Ridgley Ave. Overpass, 599 Ridgely Ave., Annapolis 21401, hosted by Chesapeake Indivisible. Help hoist a huge message on the Ridgley Avenue Route 50 overpass to reach about 40K commuters headed eastbound on Route 50 in Annapolis, and wave signs for drivers traversing Ridgley Avenue. RSVP at https://www.mobilize.us/mobilize/event/824306/

54] – Indivisible Baltimore County [pnrichkus@228993002.mailchimpapp.com] and Harford County Indivisibles are teaming up on Thurs., Oct. 30 at 4:30 PM to stand up for District 1. Join a sign wave outside of an Andy Harris fundraiser in Sparks on the sidewalk along Fila Way in front of Kelly's Benefits, Baltimore County 21152. Register for action: https://www.mobilize.us/indivisiblebaltimore/event/864453/

Andy Harris continues to actively work against his District 1 constituents. His views are often aligned with the far-right of his party, which some see as out of step with the district’s mix of rural Eastern Shore, suburban Harford and Baltimore County communities (Maryland Matters). Harris has been criticized for his limited direct engagement with constituents: for instance, his first public “town hall” of 2025 was conducted by telephone, prompting questions about his willingness to hold in-person forums with voters (WYPR). The structural makeup of the district- drawn to heavily favor Republicans- means constituents feel their voices are effectively muted. Show up for District 1 while Andy Harris spends his time with high paying donors at a fundraiser in his honor ($500- $3000 tickets!)

55] – On Thurs., Oct. 30 at 6 PM, Indivisible is organizing Rally & Rise. Every Voice, Every Thursday at Maryland 108 & Georgia Ave., Olney 20832. Rally and Rise is about coming together in unity, hope, and the strength of our voices.  Bring your signs, your energy, and your spirit. Parking is available in nearby shopping centers and along Hillcrest Drive. For stand-alone businesses, please leave their spaces open for their customers. And while you’re here, consider patronizing the local shops and restaurants—it’s a wonderful way to support the Olney community. RSVP at https://www.mobilize.us/dfadcoalition/event/843663/?followup_modal_context=organization_newsletter_custom_recommendations

56] –Virginia 2025 is the time to phonebank on Thurs., Oct. 30 at 6:30 to 8 PM ET.  Help Indivisible deliver wins for candidates who will put Virginia first, from the top of the ticket all the way down to the local school board! Flip the governor’s mansion, grow the Dem majority in the House of Delegates, and elect public school champions to school boards. Use Scale to Win, the easy-to-use calling tool, to connect with voters all across Virginia to remind them of the upcoming election and make sure they have a plan to vote. A short phone banking training will be included at the beginning of the event. Be sure to have both a computer and a phone so that you can make phone calls to voters. RSVP at https://www.mobilize.us/indivisible/event/836250/?utm_source=email&source=email_20251020

The next opportunity to phone bank is Sat., Nov. 1 from 9:30 to 11 AM ET.  The last phone bank is on Mon., Nov. 3.
