[info@kairosresponse.org] on Wed., July 9 at 1 PM ET is calling attention to
the "Gazafication" of the West Bank. Israel is bringing to the West
Bank its horrific disdain for human lives and international law in the Gaza
War. REGISTER at https://palestine.events/9July2025
This is the West Bank today: Rampant ethnic cleansing, terrifying rise in state-sanctioned violence, tens of thousands made homeless and entire communities disappeared. With genocidal horrors continuing in Gaza, and the recent violent exchange between Israel and Iran, it is too easy for the world to overlook the extraordinary crimes Israel has been committing in the West Bank. Military attacks on refugee camps, destruction of entire villages, vigilante settlers terrorizing Palestinian towns, extreme restriction of movement, mass arrests, prisoners tortured, almost 1000 Palestinians killed in 2025 including hundreds of children, and 29 communities completely uprooted - all this is being done by Israel with impunity and with little notice from the world. This, while Israel also sets new records for the expansion of illegal settlement homes.
38] – Jewish Voice for Peace is doing a Power Half-Hour for Gaza: Channel grief & outrage into action to stop a genocide. A year into the genocide in Gaza, we are overwhelmed with sorrow and rage. There are no words to describe the devastating pain of the past year in which the Israeli military has killed over 44,000 Palestinians in Gaza, including more than 17,000 children. The International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court have both declared that Israel must stop the genocidal acts being committed on the Palestinian people. And the U.S. government is actively supporting the Israeli military as it wreaks devastation on the over 2 million Palestinians in Gaza. JVP continues to come together as a political community in its daily half-hour to take action. Join in and take collective action to demand an arms embargo to Israel, immediate end to the genocide, a lasting ceasefire and an end to Israeli siege, apartheid, occupation, and oppression of Palestinians and Lebanon. All are welcome. All are needed. Get involved at 3 PM ET on Wed., July 9, Thurs., July 10, Mon., July 14 & Tues., July 15. 43] – Congress, led by Donald Trump and his Polluters First Agenda, just passed one of the most destructive environmental and economic bills in history—slashing clean energy investments, climate protections, along with historically cruel cuts to Medicaid to pay for tax breaks for the ultra-wealthy. Trump’s and the GOP’s “One Big Brutal Bill” paves the way for higher utility costs, job losses, increased pollution, and dependence on foreign energy for the rest of us. This “Republican Rate Hike” will drive up energy bills while sending clean energy jobs overseas, all to benefit billionaires and Trump’s Big Oil donors. It’s time to put people before polluters! Join in a national webinar with speakers Senator Schatz and Senator Markey: “Billions more for billionaires, barely pennies for people, and more pollution for the planet. What's next for the movement? Discuss how we can fight back. On Wed., July 9 at 8 PM ET, thousands of activists will gather to discuss how to prepare the communities and networks to meet this moment. This Republican Rate Hike is a deeply unpopular and cruel policy. With the right tools, a movement can turn public anger into pressure, organizing, and accountability: https://www.mobilize.us/climateactioncampaign/event/811570/?link_id=0&can_id=4b9d4061aec5469758759317ac0f5285&source=email-billions-more-for-billionaires&email_referrer=email_2805276___subject_3300382&email_subject=whats-next-for-our-movement-find-out

Screening followed by a discussion with filmmaker Robert Greenwald. Since October 7, 2023, at least 178 journalists and media workers have been killed in Gaza. That's more journalists than in both World Wars combined. While the world remains largely silent, raise your voices against injustice. This poignant documentary exposes Israel’s crimes against journalism and humanity through the lives and deaths of Palestinian journalists Belal Jadallah, Heba Al-Abadla, and Ismail al-Ghoul. These attacks aren’t just about immigration—they’re part of a broader assault on civil rights and democratic norms that threaten us all. Examine the harm caused by Trump’s enforcement regime, its lasting impact on families, and the Republican legislative agenda that would further entrench this dangerous system.
